I'm 18!
I'm 18 and legal! Whoop!! Adulthood here I come! Whaaaahhh!!!!
I woke up this morning and my mum and younger brother had been up since 6am hanging up ballons, banners and streamers all over the front of the house, the back garden and even the train station! (I live over the road from it).
They made me a cooked breakfast and in my birthday egg - I had a double yolk! That's supposed to be really lucky and I took it as a very good sign. ^_^
My little bro (bless him!) got me a set of Martina Cole book and a Pick Me Up magazine (he knows what I like!)
My mum and my step-dad had pooled their money together and bought me....dun dun da dun! - a Graphics Tablet!
WHOO! Now my art won't suck as bad!
My great aunt sent me a necklace that belonged to my nan (who died in the summer) and it had a pic of my great-granddad inside.
I got a £500 cheque from my grandparents too!
It's a tradition of theirs. Whenever one of their grandchildren turns 18, the get £500 to fund travelling, car, uni - whatever!
I opened it and totally spazzed out on the floor!
But one really nice surprise was when I signed onto DA during my college class. My very good friend
made me a Zutara AMV for a present! I was so so SO happy! That's probably the nicest thing an internet friend has ever done for me!
We both share the same music tastes and we love Breaking Benjamin - so she made the AMV to the song 'Diary of Jane'.

In an hour, I'm off to dinner with my family and can officially buy my first legal drink! ^_^
Then it's off to my bf's. I have a good source who has told me that he's throwing me a surprise party.
