Well, I had my first day at a new college today.

I was dreading it at first and after walking up a gigantic hill and needing to stop for a fag, I even considered going back home. But Sam had left to go to work for the day and I knew that if I went back home, there's no way that I could get back to sleep and even if I did, the rest of the day would be boring and lonely.

So, I went in and the tuition began. We have the same guy that interviewed me for a course tutor. His name is Adrian and he's a little kooky. He has long grey hair tied in a pony tail and he talks with his hands.

Anyway, we did a lecture on Health and Safety and all that crap, then we did some sort of test to see if we needed any help with our Maths and English skills. I scored low for the Maths, but high for the English. When we were told to go, I waited outside the door for a while hoping somebody would invite me to come sit with them for lunch.
I suppose I struck lucky. There was this one guy called Callum who was on a course last year with his friend, Lewis and they've both progressed onto this one. Anyway, I invited them to go to the shops with me to get some lunch and they agreed. Conversation was slow and a little awkward, but at least I knew somebody's name! They both seemed nice enough, though I would like to add a female friend to the mixture. Last year just brings up too many memories of boys being idiots. There were fart contests, jokes about my boobs and a lot of noise!

How I hated it.

So although I think I've made a friend, I would like to meet a female friend too. There is this one girl who looks like I might get on with her, but she keeps mostly to herself and I didn't really get a chance to talk to her. Hopefully as the week progresses, I might get to learn her name and become friends.

Do I sound sad? Someone let me know if I sound creepy. I just want to make friends.
